Home Stay Families for the 2010- 2011 School Year

During the upcoming school year 2010 -2011 , District 8 will have International Students attending school for various periods of time. Columbian students will be coming to our Middle Schools for a two week period in October. A second group of Middle School students from Columbia will be in our District for a three month period ( Sept. to Nov.). International students from Germany, Mexico and or China will be attending our High Schools all year long.

Congratulations to Science Fair Participants!

Congratulations to the students who represented St. Malachy’s in a very positive way this past Friday at the Regional Science Fair.

Thanks to Ms. Barb Riley for her work with the students and to the teachers of Science for their support and encouragement.

 

STM'S GOT TALENT!

This month St.Malachy's is holding our very own talent show and you are all invited!On April 23rd, all students have a chance to get out of 4th period for the small price of $3. All proceeds go towards a great charity!

Any student that would like to perform can. There is three catagories: Dancing, Singing, and Miscellaneous. Before the day of the talent show you must talk to the SRC and let them know what you would like to perform. If you make it past the first round you will move on to the talent show involving the other high schools.

BOOK SALE!

"Saints in Action" is currently collecting books for a book drive. Students, if you have any previously loved books that you would like to donate, please drop them off in room 002. Any parents who would like to donate books, please drop them off at the main office. The books will be collected until April 7th.

If you are interested in purchasing the donated books, they will be on sale for students on April 8th during the lunch hour. Parents, and other members of the community can purchase the books on April 8th from 4:00-7:30 or April 9th from 12:30-3:30.
