Girls in Information Technology (IT) Web page contest with FABULOUS prizes!

ALL GIRLS IN GRADES 9 TO 12 in New Brunswick are invited to exercise their technical skills and creativity using some ‘real world’ design requirements from a real company. Prizes include a NETBOOK COMPUTER or CASH Prizes of $500.00, $250.00 or $125.00.

 

Summative Assessments Deadline

Deadline for all Summative Assessments to be submitted to subject teachers- Friday, January 22nd , 2010. If a student fails to have all summative assessments completed by January 22nd , 2010, the student will not pass the course (no credit). The student will receive a “Code 2” on the report card. During the afternoon of January 22nd, all Gr. 9 students will be writing the English Language Arts Assessment (students in Gr. 10,11 &12 who have not successfully completed the ELPA will, at the same time, write the English Language Arts Reassessment).

Yearbook Orders Online - Early Bird Prices Until Dec. 31

St. Malachy's is pleased to be able to offer students (and parents) the ability to purchase yearbooks online! Jostens, our publisher, provides an easy-to-use website for taking orders and payments.

Orders are processed through the Jostens website, and yearbooks are delivered to the school for pickup in June, just like orders that are placed at the school.

The Early Bird Discount ($40) is available online until December 31, 2009. From January 1 - 31, the regular rate of $45 will apply.

You Are Invited To - Girls Night

From 6 to 9pm on Tuesday, November 17th 2009, you are invited to a girls night like no other at St. Malachy's MHS. There will be a fashion show, dresses to rent and buy from $20.00 with prizes and demonstrations. Tickets are $5.00

 

Students of St. Malachy's Honour our Veterans

The entire student body of St. Malachy’s Memorial High School joined together this past Tuesday, November 10th 2009, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception to honor all those who gave their lives and are playing a role in the worlds current conflicts. Honor guests included:

Where? – Glen Falls School

When? – Every Tuesday Night 6:30 to 9:00 pm

Is there a Cost? – JA Company is Free and Fun and you can earn some money at the end of the program.

Who can Join? – Students from Grade 9, 10, 11 and12

Is there any Benefits? - You can meet and make new friends, learn about business and be the boss of your own company!

RVFHA Will be Hosting Tryouts for a Midget A Team

RVFHA will be hosting tryouts for a Midget A team that will play tournaments, ex games and participate in Hockey New Brunswick’s Female Provincial League. Initial tryout times will be:
