Welcome Back! We are looking forward to another fantastic school year!
The SRC is up and running and along with the Orientation Committee are ready to greet all students as they return on September 7th. Our fall sports are practicing for the commencement of their fall schedules. As the week unfolds, information regarding all clubs and activities will be made available to students. This week, we look forward to activities such as Red and White Day, Picnic in the Park and a Hawaiian Theme Day! Welcome Back to the Class of 2011, to the Class of 2012 and to the Class of 2013! A warm St. Malachy’s Welcome is extended to the Class of 2014…welcome to the St. Malachy’s Family! Many thanks to the SRC & SRC President Ben Collins, to the Orientation Committee, to SRC Faculty Advisors Ms. Connie Shea and Mr. Jeff Matheson , to Ms. Carrie Shea and to Mrs. Beverlee Macdonald for their work in planning and organizing the many fun-filled activities, taking place over the course of the first weeks of school.
Schedule for this week:
Tuesday, September 7th-Schedule as per the previously distributed Schedule. (in Red Folders)
Wednesday, September 8th - Regular Schedule- please see Bell Schedule. (in Red Folders) **Grade 9 students will be called to the auditorium for the SRC sponsored Cheer Assembly at the beginning of Period 3. Students are asked to report to Period 3 and they will then be called to the auditorium. **Activities will be held in the Gymnasium during the lunch hour today.
Thursday, September 9th- Regular Schedule- Red and White Day and Picnic in the Park **Please Note**12:00 Noon Dismissal. Classes will start-up again at 1:21p.m.
Friday, September 10th- Regular Schedule-Hawaiian Theme Day with a Hawaiian Luau in the Gymnasium during the noon hour.
Homeroom Leaders will visit Gr. 9 classes throughout the week. Tuesday and Thursday afternoon classes will FLIP beginning next week.
Upcoming Events:

*September 15th- Grade 9 Breakfast in the Cafeteria 8:00-8:45 a.m.
*September 17th- Welcome Back Assembly (Six period Day: Periods 1,2,3, Assembly- Lunch - 4,5)
*September 21st- Meet the Teacher /PSSC Election-6:30p.m.Opening Session in the Auditorium…details to follow.
