Assessment Policy

All Summative Assessments; including major tests /assignments/projects, midterms and exams must be completed. If a student misses any of the above assessments, it will be written upon the student’s return to school.

 

Orientation Committee 2010

There will be a mandatory meeting for the entire Orientation Committee at the school on Wednesday, Sept. 1st, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Come and help the SRC plan the many events and activities that take place during Orientation Week like Picnic in the Park or the Cheer Assembly. Focus on Information Technology (FIT)

FIT is a Canada wide program for Grades 11 and 12 students. It is designed to prepare students for a world that runs on computers. The FIT program provides high school graduates with technology and business/entrepreneurial skills and with essential workplace skills and IT related work experience.

The FIT program focuses on developing:
1. Employability/essential skills
2. Business/entrepreneurship aptitude
3. PC Maintenance Skills
4. Technical proficiency

How Does FIT look for Students:

The Saints in Action had fantastic news on Friday!

The Saints in Action reached their goal of raising $10,000.00 to build a school in Africa. What a tremendous accomplishment! Thanks to all those who helped in this very worthwhile endeavor. Congratulations on a job well done to these STM Saints!!

Saints In Actions Are Building a School In Kenya

As you all know, Saints in Action is a group of students trying to raise $10 000 to build a school in Kenya. They have raised $8,291 so far this year and have one more big fundraiser before classes end next week.
